I have a diamond tail flasher that was doing great for 6 weeks. He is now laying around & stopped eating. This is my first flasher so I thought maybe the dynamics in the tank changed.
He has started breathing heavy & I want to treat him. I don't want to treat the tank & risk losing everything but I'm not thrilled about pulling him out & further stressing him.
Not sure what to use. Should I go with prazi, metro, or would a formulan bath be ok? I don't have the ideal situation for a treatment tank but I do have a spare 10g & extra equipment to run one short term.
I'm a little concerned treating something so sensitive but I need to try & fix this. Now that I think about it I noticed a string of white poop before this behavior started. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I plan on stopping at the lfs tonight for meds.
