Best method to add several different Dwarf Angels

Sorry guys, I gave up and went to bed..............:spin3:

albano - your tank is also amazing. I've always been afraid to have that many fish but I love the motion. I'd love to see it in person, too, where exactly do you live? I drive from CT to New Jersey pretty frequently for work, going today actually.

I would say my tank is somewhere in between at this point. If I'm going to add a lot of angels I'm not sure I want to risk a lot of corals. We'll see.

i would try to QT all separately (you dont want them fighting in the QT - lowers immune system) and add all at once. so QT separate, but drop em in at the same time. If thats possible i would do that. If not, QT only smaller specimens, or 1 male and other 2 females so there are no territory issues.

After this last round of failures I initially thought about QT'ing them all separately but at the same time as you suggest. But I'm not sure I can handle all the water changes, etc. with the tanks. I don't have sponge filters ready to go any more since I'm discarding what I was using before and I also don't have live rock to put at risk at this point.

I'm thinking about setting up two tanks and working with two groups to start, get them in the display and then do another round.

Other alternative is to buy a 40 gallon tank and put dividers in it which will help the aggression, but if there is a disease it will affect all of them and my finances can't handle losing that many fish again (nor can my emotions :uhoh2:)

I wish there was another way. I'm not looking forward to maintaining multiple tanks for months to get this moving either. And my husband isn't too happy about my tanks cluttering up the kitchen counters either!:eek1:

I will take up on your offer as long as it's not down in FL. If it's Katonah then that should be a good ride. I used to drive on Taconic and Saw Mill to the city every 2 weeks.
Katonah...the last exit on Saw Mill Pkwy...20-25 miles north of Tappan Zee Bridge

Happy to have you...I'm just south of Danbury if you take I-84, or west of Greenwich/Stamford if you take I-95

this is a great thread, I'm running into a similar issue. I have a CB in my display and when trying to add a FA, the CB was beating it up. So I was able to pull the FA out of my display and I have placed him in the sump. I when FA get fat and healthy, I plan to re-introduce him back into the display. I was so successful with my 6-line wrasse and the Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse . The 6-line worked the red head solon fairy wrasse. Using a trap, I caught the 6-line but it was too late. Now I have him sitting in the sump with the FA until I figure what other fish I want to add..

Duh! I should have read closer. I saw FL and Sea Isle City, NJ and Troupsburg, NY and skipped right over Katonah. I drive right through there on I-684 a lot. I was born and raised in NJ and never heard of Sea Isle City.

Anyone know how to sex Eibli's or Lemonpeel's?
