Best mode setting for two MP40s on a 190 ?

I've been running a Vortech MP40 since 2006 when they came out. It's rock solid and never had an issue. I just ordered a used MP40W off eBay and have put it opposite my existing MP40. One is towards the front and the other towards the back. My tank is 60" x 24" x 24" and is from Deep Sea Aquatics (190 Pro).

I want to know if I should put them in anti-sync mode running the nutrient transport OR something else entirely. Tank is mostly LPS and softies with a few hardy sps corals in the mix. I have heard this mode will wear out these pumps fast and don't want to do that of course. Curious if there's any truth to that. The more I read the further away from an answer I get. I figured some people on here have been down this road and could offer some advice and knowledge.
Also, is there any risk of busting the tank seams? What a nightmare scenario!
I had my single MP40 in nutrient transport mode at 100% and the tank loved it but now I'm a bit scared with two. At least until I hear something. They are both at 50% power currently and running anti sync in nutrient transport mode.

Thanks as always.

I personally don't put in sinc mode, I want random flow to be just that.
I run mine on reefcrest mode.

Thanks for that. So just have them doing their own thing completely? No master/slave set up?

I just spoke with Deep Sea Aquatics (tank manufacturer) and they said I can't run two MP40s on the tank bc it's 1/2" glass and not 3/4". Please somebody tell me they're wrong and just overly cautious! Now I'm really freaked out.

Just curious Reefermadness3, why wouldn't you be able to run a certain number of power heads in any given tank? Are the MP40s that strong that they'll crack a seam?

Yes they can definitely split a seam. There are tons of posts where people have done this but no real specifics. That is why I started this post to begin with - to make sure I don't join them.

I talked to the manufacturers of my tank and I was told that two MP40s can't be used because the tank is made out of 1/2" glass and it would need to be 3/4" glass to sustain them. Again, this is the information coming from Deep Sea Aquatics - the tank manufacturer. And yes, I would imagine that splitting the seams and/or weakening the tank is their concern. I'm not sure if it would take running them at 100%, how long it would take, etc. Was just told not to do it.

I really hope they are covering their back and that this is something a ton of people do with no issue. I have them dailed back to 30% now until I hear further.

That is very odd to hear, I mean look at your vorts, they have an adaptable mount that can be set at varrying thicknesses, even less than half inch.
I can't imagine them hurting a seam.
I have not seen any of these threads stating that, and having some mechanical knowledge I can not think of anything that could back that theory.
I do normally advise checking tank manufacturers, but I do have to wonder if they are just being overly cautious.
As for modes, everyone has their opinion or preference.
I've been a diver for about 40 years now, my observations have been that while waves may come in intervals, those change depending on swell, tides, winds and so on, so I go w/ what seems to be the closest replication from my observations, random patterns.

I have an mp40qd on my 40b and I run reef crest as a standard at about 40-50% power. Once a week I run the nutrient removal program on about 80% power for a couple hours. Seems to really break up the gunk in the tank. Kinda crazy to see what comes outta your rocks the first time.

I have been using nutrient transport mode and I like it alot more than reef crest. My Acros have responded with better PE and growth.
