Best Mp40 mode for a SPS tank

ES allows slightly more adjustment to night mode, the only difference is that you can enter configuration mode and set the percentage at which it operates in night mode, but it's still only constant mode.

WXM module does not work with the non-apex aquacontroller's right now, not sure if there are plans to do so in the future.

Night Mode
Your EcoSmart driver gives you the ability to have a slower pump speed at specified times. Night mode is used to change the speed of the pumps at a certain time in the evening and resume normal operation at a specific time in the morning. When entered in Night Mode, the pump will slow the speed to a set percentage of the max speed of the mode you currently are in. The pump will stay in this mode for a specified time. The first time you use night mode, you must tell it when to go into Night Mode. You do this by pressing and holding both Mode and Set and then pressing and holding Mode and Set again. If you remove power to your Vortech driver, you must tell it again when to go into Night Mode.See section 4.5: Configuration Mode, for instructions on how to do this.

that is copied from the manual..

It does not go into constant mode at night

Just wondering if you are reading from the manual of the ES models?
I got my info off of the manual that comes with the mp40 gen 2, which is also on vortech's site.

do you guys suppose i could use an mp40 on the lowest settings in a 29g? im setting up a 75 and would like to use it there in the future.

I have been running Reefcrest antisync on both ends for months now. Yesterday, I decided to let it run green (constant) at 100% on both pumps for about 10 minutes just to stir up detritus and stuff. Wow, with both MP40's wide open on a 6 foot tank, it was putting out some serious flow. It actually knocked over a few of my corals that had been sitting there fine for months, and the fish were all huddled in the corner in confusion.....lol

Yes it is from the ES version of the manual, I did not think the regular version would have been different. My bad.
