best multicontroller setting for SPS

I have an all sps BB 75G. I just got 2 tunze 6000 streams with a multicontroller. I have them mounted on an angle on opposite sides of the tank near the back so they both bounce off the front glass. From your experince what is the best setting for SPS ? Right now I have them on Interval 1, 6 hours and 3 sec pulse from 80 to 100. Any input would be apreciated. Below is a pic of how I have them positioned.

Looks and sounds perfect, I might try Interval 2 as well and chose the one you prefer.

Thanks roger when I asked the same question is the SPS forum it seems everyone had a different idea as to how to set it. From positioning them directly at each other to pulsing them at 3 sec intervals, no one really had it set for more than a few minutes.

The tide changes at 6 hr intervals. It just makes sense to use this interval since it is what nature provides.

Roger, INYO you would use interval 1 set at 6hrs and what pulse would you use? My pumps are similar in placement(back corners facing center of front glass in a 120) Would you run one at appx 30-100 range and the other around 20-80? What would u suggest?

I would do one both at 30/100. My preference is for interval 2 because that way both pumps run and this keeps them cooler and keeps animals out. I find the 3-6 sec pulse is best, shorter pulses don't let the pump get up to speed.

i am curious on feedback on this setup..

As of 5 days ago... I set it intv. #3- the rising current, with my 6000s on the center 2 channels....2 and 3- with a 1-3 min cycle, and 3-6 second pulses? [so each one goes off for at least a few seconds] I do like a little settle time, and wish that they went below 30% :) am i better to just leave them on all the time for cooling reasons?

7094- yes sequence mode.. though I found it still works with the pulse set to a couple of seconds.... and the 6000s connected to the center two channels. [so when stage 1 [timex] comes on, both pumps are off...]

i wish the tunzes went to 0% in pulse mode. but i am trying this instead :)

What is plugged in to the first socket on the controller? Socket one is what powers the controller so I don't think this would work reliably if sockets 2 and 3 are being used. I see no problem otherwise if you like the results but I generally reserve sequence mode for very large tanks using 4 or more pumps.
