I'm moving to Philadelphia soon, and I was wondering what are some of the best pet stores and fish stores in Philly, Delaware, and the surrounding areas?

wasn't into saltwater when i was there (8-9 yrs ago) but world wide aquarium in upper darby has tons of tanks fresh and salt.

Pets Plus in NE Philly
Fins Feathers Paws and Claws - Harlesville and Quakertown
Pet Shack - Hatfield
Fish Factory Levittown (mile from hidden reef)
and if you so incline Absolutly fishy in North Jersey.
I can not say which are good in NJ but these are the ones we shop at.
Delaware Valley Reef Club are a good bunch of people they will be able to help you also.

You guys are amazing. Thank you! I've spent weeks looking for pet stores to apply to, I'm moving to Philly soon but not physically there yet. I was hoping to get a good idea of which ones have the best reputation. Don't want to work somewhere with a bad reputation...But you just listed three that I didn't even know existed. That's awesome, thank you.

Wow We were trying to help they membr out finding Pet Stores in the Philly area. This turned into a Ad for Capt Nemo's... I am sorry Molly for some rude people on here who have to ruin your thread. Unfortunatly some people on here don't have the respect others do. Please visit all of them and make up your mind yourself. You will find that all the different stores in the area have something different and different expericance level to offer.
I do not work at any pet store and would be more than happy to point you in the direction of any and all pet/fish stores in the area.

Ok here it goes. I have been thinking about this all day. I am very upset with tmac1rebok. you are 20 years old and have no respect for yourself or the place that employs you. Someone expressed their opinion on Capt Nemo's (kinda harsh at that) and you come back with being rude. This is a public forum everyone sees it. In this economy I would watch what I say and who I say it around. You don't want to **** off any customers.
I am sorry for thread-jacking but this was bothing me. A forum member was asking for help and we turn this into one of Capt Nemo's employees being ignorant. I hope they are no reflection on the rest of the staff they employ. I also hope this is not the caliper of employees they hire.
