O obaltus New member Feb 4, 2006 #1 Hello, I need some advise. I am running a Calc Reator filled with Calcit and I was wondering what was the best pH to dissolve this media? Thank you, Olivier

Randy Holmes-Farley Reef Chemist Premium Member Feb 4, 2006 #2 I think folks usually use a pH around pH 6.5, but I'd focus on the alkalinity of the effluent and the tank, and not so much the pH of the reactor.
