Best pittsburgh saltwater store

I am from out of town and my girlfriend lives here in pittsburgh. I am wondering what is the best saltwater store in the area. I have been to aquaworld and was pretty impressed. Thanks

Nicest I've been to so far is Wet Pets and Friends in McMurray. Its about 30 minutes south of downtown. A little bit pricey but it is worth the drive just to check out their display tanks alone.

Here is a crappy cell phone pic I took of their FO display last time I was there. For size reference, this tank is like 10 foot long. Some of these fish are impressive.

Depends on what you are looking for. Wet Pets is prob the nicest looking store. monoreville has Elmers and Aquariums and Ponds by Namado is in Murrysville (very close to Elmers)

Elmer's fish population has increased over the last year. They also added a couple grow out tanks for corals. IMHO, the coral prices are a little high when compared to others, but most are a little above frag size. If you're looking for something special let us know. Easier to help you out. I wouldn't mind seeing one of my RBTA's on Canadian soil.

Ive got rbta's and fbta's and alot of sps. I kinda just go and browse, i will eventually go to elmers and wet pets just need more time lol

Elmer's has certainly made improvements in the reef department. As far as prices, they are nowhere near as high (dry goods, fish or coral) as Wet Pets (at least last I checked). That is not a bad thing, it is just a different demographic I suppose.

BTW Jesse... (don't tell anybody) I am giving Radions a whirl...

Keep me informed. I'm starting a new thing. Probably about a couple years out but I was considering it myself. I've seen some good results out there.

Got my D300 this past week. :D

This is a huge departure for me... I REALLY liked the look of my halides. I grabbed (3) Radions from (Fiji)-Dave when he closed and put them up yesterday. I am not overly excited about the look but figured I would give them a try.

It was that or a new D3200 (D700 or whatever I could bring myself to drop money on) body... looks like I am stuck with the D50 for another year or two.
