Best place for "Rare" Coral in Pittsburgh

Basically I'm wondering if there is a place around here that sells any of the Tyree, ATL, etc... brands of coral?

Aquaworld is your only hope as far as LFS are concerned.

Also get in touch with Buck50mg, the guy you got the calcium reactor from, he has some really nice/rare stuff.

There may be other individuals as well.

Do yourself a favor and call and make sure Jeff will be there when you go. If you are looking to buy any of the LE stuff they sell I think he is the only one that can sell them.

You also might want to PM him on here as to what you are looking for. They are in the process of setting up tanks for their LE stuff and much of it is being held offsite, so what they have in the store may not be a complete representation of what they have access to.

I checked the website... looks like some good stuff, the GARF Bonsai, and Sunset Monti are two of the pieces I am looking for.

They should have the sunset monti in store still, but I bought the best piece

I think some of the prices in store may be cheaper than the online price from what I can remember.

If you are a PMAS member you get 10% off, and I am sure they will cut you a better deal if you buy multiple pieces.

also double check the last time i was there he didn't have the GARF Bonsai i went there a few weeks ago looking to get it
but they have plenty of very nice stuff and i can't wait till they get the LE tanks going

aquaworld is the place for corals of that nature. They have some really unusual, "rare" is over used, stuff right now.

Yeah once my display is up and running, I'll be making a run out there. Right now I have no room for anything else in my temp tank. Although I somehow manage to keep cramming new frags in. :lol:
