Best Place to Buy a CUC

I bought 30 nassarius and 30 ceriths (larger kind) from Reefcleaners, will be here today. No bad experiences with them. Have not seen turbos (I love the chestnut turbos) on the site lately though.

Just received an order yesterday..I ordered the 5.5g package for my 29g :) I got about 80 dwarf ceriths, some nerites, nassarius, and Florida ceriths in my package..the ceriths (both dwarf and regular seem to have been DOA. The nerites and nassarius are very much alive though!

Reefcleaners gets my vote too - always fast service and always more than the stated number. Never had a ton of doa either, most make it through just fine as long as you don't leave them sitting outside in the mail box or front porch in the extreme cold or heat.

Give them a little time. They often kind of go in to shock on arrival. If they aren't on the move in a couple more days then they probably are dead.

On the website somewhere it says that ceriths can be dormant for up to 3 days after arrival... I just ordered from reefcleaners last weekend got the (29g snail pack for my 90g) and the ceriths all took a day or so to "wake up" but they're all over the place now! A few DOA's but not too many, and good sizes on everything too. Definitely will continue to order from reefcleaners in the future, just be sure to plan on getting waaaay more snails than you need and order accordingly lol

Off topic kinda, but I ordered some dry rock through them as well and it was also really nice!

I told my wife about the package today and she say's "are you kidding me, 80 snails, That's all there will be in the tank?" Gotta love the wife!

Assuming things go right, that sounds like a lot of casualties to me. Less is more when it comes down to CUC members IMO. Don't forget, you are the first defense when it comes down to keeping a tank clean. GL.

I ordered the following from reefcleaners a week ago or so.
2x Empty Hermit Shells
5x Medium/Larger Empty Hermit Shells
and 1 Quick Crew (28 Bowfront)

I ended up getting a TON of snails AND HERMITS! They are now crawling around my tank like someone opened up an ant colony in my tank!! They also gave me plenty of extra empty shells for the hermits. The shells were originally for my 3 scarlet reef hermits and blue legged hermits I already had.

I am vigilant about maintenance. Unfortunately, I never invested in a decent CUC and am exited about the new additions and hopefully a cleaner tank!

Any casualties?

Ordered my bunch of snails through reefcleaners yesterday. Love the service thus far where communication is concerned. Will see about shipping when they send out my new bunch of occupants on Tuesday

I've done a few orders over the years with John at Reefcleaners, and have never had a problem.
The man can't count!!

I've ordered from Reeftopia as well with no troubles.
