Hi I really want a green moray eel or a big tessalata eel but I can't seem to find a green moray for sale anywhere online that looks like a legit site and the big tessalata seems impossible to can anyone help me please message me or something if u know of somwhere

Have a import/export connection in Miami that gets them wholesale fairly regularly, Ill look into it for you.

Depending where youre located shipping costs may prove infeasible/impractical

I am curious as to what size tank you plan to house either or in. They are both fantastic creatures and get large. I simply do not have the funds to provide a large tank or I would own one myself.

I plan to house them in a 300g tank that I currently have with nothing in it and move them to a 600g tank when I buy it in a couple months

The LFS here gets 8"-12" greens in on request. I will text the owner in the morning and see if he is willing to ship.

Please

Please

Please do that I would love to grow my own and it would be the happiest eel ever a 300g to itself at 10inches and food everyday haha

I've seen small 8-12" green morays at LFS down here (they are local also here). Ironically I had one for a brief time as I had ordered a G. vicinus but received a green instead. Try divertom.com, he occassionally has them

Joeym916: Unfortunately the LFS here will not ship out of state. He did not explain why, I'm guessing he may not have the proper supplies? In response to your question of my favorite moray, I have a fascination with all of the toothy species and could not pick one or even five haha. I have to say they are all absolutely gorgeous, wonderful, graceful and stunning creatures that are misunderstood by most people.

I have tried divertom called him and everything and he gets 2-4 green morays a year.... Don't wanna wait that long lol thanks tho guys

Good luck! We were just talking about green morays in another thread about the biggest & most aggressive morays in this forum about a week ago.
If you keep asking around and wait a couple months, I'm sure you will find a green moray. If you're still interested in a tessellata, that should be even easier to find. Liveaquaria.com has WYSIWYG specimens in the Diver's Den section usually at least a couple times a month. They even sometimes get the high-white/panda tessellatas.
