Best price on a mp40

Does anyone know if there are any coupons currently out for any online retailers? I would like to buy a mp40 es but have only found it for around 450 everywhere. I would like to get at least 10 percent of that.

Hey I just glanced at marinedepot.com and the mp40 wireless version has been discontinued. Are they coming out with a new version or something or did marine depot just decide to stop selling them? I'm hoping that they just didn't get so many people returning them because of problems with the unit that they just didn't want to deal with it anymore. Because if that's the case then I might just not get one myself.

There's a guy on eBay. His sn is dealsrus1234 and he is sellin them for about $445, BUT!!! He has a "or best offer" option. Make him an offer for about $340. He'll counter your offer and you'll do the same again. Counter the 3rd time and he'll settle with you at around $375 with free shipping. There BNIB units and I've bought two from him at two different times. Both work flawless and I've had them for 6 months now with no problems. I also have two close friends that I told them about this and they have bought from him as well with no problems.

Careful about ebay sellers for fair trade items. You may be getting older versions. The 4th of July sale idea is great. Lots of folks have them: Premium Aquatics, Marine Depot, Aquarium Specialty, etc.

I would avoid ebay as well. For any piece of hardware, you'd want a full warranty and customer service if something goes wrong.

I register both my mp40 and they are both covered for a full year. I called to confirm. And mines are the ones with the new pretty drivers. But that's just me. If I can save $75 of each then I don't see the reason not to.

From what I know, the Ecosmart has a different driver, additional modes, and some "enhancements" that they listed in the link I provided earlier.

EcoTech Marine is one of the RC sponsors and has has its own forum. I'm they'd be more detailed and articulate than myself if you ask them specific questions.

I got lucky and got 2 second gen ecotech (wireless?) with a spare wet side and the battery backup off of ebay for $690. Kind of a spur of the moment thing, so hopefully I didn't over pay.

i find them all the time on local forums and forums like this for around $300, thats where and how i got both of mine for that price. They are used but still work perfect. good luck
