I have never noticed a real difference, either. Instant Ocean is cheaper and easier for me to obtain, so that is what I use.

I should say that whatever I use, I do doctor them up to where I want them to be. Unfortunately, it is really hard to doctor some of them down in places.

What I meant to say is that I cannot tell a differnce in my tank with properly aged (day or two), heated and doctored up mix regardless of the salt.

I have used RC before and it was fine. I would not buy it b/c IO with some baking soda and CaCl is cheaper that RC.

I do the same. IO rarely needs to be altered, from what I have seen, or if it does, it isn't usually substantial.

Tropic Marin for sure, that way you don't have to add any other additives... Where is the testing that shows that it was high in phosphates, and which kind of phosphates was it high in?

could you hav eto much salt mix?does it go bad?if i had a 90 gal barrel made change 5 gallons a week will it be find?also should there be zero light?and should i use all of it before remixing?
