Best SF Source for RO/DI Water?

Hi, Gabriel--

Good advice and I have a Kati Ani unit on its way here from Colorado. In the meantime, though, I need some top off water for the next few days. I'd prefer not to drive to the East/South Bay if I can avoid doing so.

I get my RO water from a water store in South San Francisco. It's on Grand Ave and Spruce. I dont know the exact address but it's next to a donut shop. The water there is 30 cents per gallon. The last time I checked the water there read 1 ppm on my TDS meter.

Fish, Fish and More Fish on Lombard and Divisadero sells both RO/DI and fresh sea water. They highly recommend the seawater. I use my own unit though. It saves plenty of money over time.

One question for you TDS users:

I used to read about 96 to 100 PPM at the tap, 10 to 12 after RO and 0 after DI.

My meter now reads about 56 to 60 at tap, 3 to 5 after RO and 0 after DI.

Now do you think my meter is off or has San Francisco improved the quality of their water?

6th Ave Aquarium has RO/DI water for 29 cents a gallon. I also have a filter, but I usually get some there when I pick up fiddlers and ghost shrimp for my 9 hungry mantis shrimp.
