ro configuration for freshwater continuous trickle water changer

Thanks for reading. I'm planning a 15ml/min feed for a 500g Amazonian setup. I'm thinking #1 loose catalyzed carbon, #2 loose zeolite, #3 sediment cartridge, #4 RO cartridge and #5 peat pellets, with no DI.

Notwithstanding the water parameters I'll get and may need to later adjust, is this configuration practical?

I've read to not use loose materials in the cartridges, but I'm thinking I've mitigated the possible issue with this arrangement, however my only previous experience has been with cartridge carbon filters for my reef long ago.

no idea what water parameters for an Amazonian tank but, you’ll want the sediment first to be first to keep particulate matter from clogging up the carbon and zeolite.

Re: using granular carbon, I have never done that but I think you might risk some channelling within the media/cartridge.

Thank you. In the trade we use a larger grain of carbon (Centaur) in large gas bottles which doesn't get a sediment filter and doesn't appear to channel so I'm hoping for similar behavior in a 10" can. Do you know of any suppliers who could help with my application?
