I was wondering what the best snail would be to eat brown slime algae. It is all over my tank walls and live rock. Do regular turbo snails clean it? Thanks in advance.
I have had regular turbos and large mexican turbos. The large mexicans do a much better job on brown diatoms on rock and glass than the smaller astrea turbos. I have three large turbos in a 75 gallon reef with 90 lbs of rock and they make sure there is no brown to be seen on the rockwork.
