Best T5 bulb for growing sps

Hi all, I picked up a cool t5 tek light at the swap to grow frags under.

I was wondering what are the best bulbs to use?

36x39 watt. 6 bulbs.

the only bulb that will actually grow sps is the aquablue plus or "white" bulbs, all other bulbs are really made for looks.

what about the daylight 6500k?

Haven't used the 6500K for SPS yet, my aquablue plus works fine and just about matches my phoenix 14K.

The 6500 works great for growing my cheato though. The PAR output on that bulb is rediculouse though. You can probably get away with one 6500K bulb in a 6 bulb setup. Talk to Grim Reefer about it. He is pretty much so MR. T5.

The GE6500 puts out the most par, but is yellow. The aquablue+ is second in par and is a crisp blue/white. If its just for frags, I would run 1 6500 and 4 aquablues and 1 420 actinic.. Nice color and good coral growth.
