Best treatment for velvet!

I have been treating my snapper and my puffer for ick and when it started it was nice big white spots.I am using rid ick and hypo.Not it looks like a very fine powder all over them.To me it does not look like ick anymore.I am thinking they have velvet now.What is the best treatment for this.Will the rid ick and hypo take care of it in time or should i dose copper.And can i dose anything in combo with the hypo.

If the fish have velvet use cupramine.Do not mess around as time is important since velvet kills quick.Treat all the fish in the tank.Here is some more info HTH Kieth

They started out with ick on the 16th of feb and now looks like velvet but i am not sure.If it was wouldent they be dead by now.I am getting ready to do a freshwater dip on one of them to see if anything falls off.It could be anything at this point.
