Best UV sterilizer ???

Ok this is my first UV sterilizer. It will be going on a 180 AGA RR with dual 1" returns. What is the best for the money. How about two units one on each return ??? Any input appreciated !!!

I have a 36w turbotwist, and I have been very happy with it. My suggestion is to get an oversized unit because it will do a far better job of killing pathogens and algae spores. Plus, with an oversized unit, you can run the flow fairly slowly and still turnover tank volume fairly fast which will make the unit far more effective. I run a 36w turbotwist on my 125 which I think is perfect for my volume.

agging along.... hard to beat the turbo twist design allowing for longer exposure. Ihave a standard 40w sterilizer I inherited and I run a MJ 1200 on it, which has to push the water up a foot before it drops down into the sterilizer, and then has to push it up again to return to the sump. The end result is less than the MJ 1200's 295 gph--which I want. But with the twist, I could afford to put a larger pump on it and turn the volume over more times per hour.

I like the flowrates of the aqua-ultrav's. Plus with the 2" dia. I could plumb it right into my manifold...

I like the current-usa gamma UV. Built like a tank compared to the turbo twist, aqua medic ect (makes them seem downright flemsy) and comes with all the pvc fittings, L's, reducers, teflon tape ect you'll need to get it installed in whatever configuration (I made a skimmer output pipe with the extra pvc stuff). I dont know if it works any better or worse than the others but its by far the best built in its price range. there are better at a higher price range like the link posted above but its the best of the cheapies IMO.
