I would glue a toothpick or two to a rock. Pierce it through the base of the sacrophyton to hold it. It should be attached within a week or two. Nip off any protruding totthpick. If you use a wooden toothpick it will just rot away inside the coral. Plastic won't harm it either.
If there's any rubble or sand attached to the bottom of the stalk then using either superglue gel or epoxy should work. (or a combination of the two) GL.
Stick a toothpick through the base and then use a rubber band to hold the toothpick and base to a plug or piece of rubble. After a week or two it will attach and then you can just superglue the plug/rubble wherever in your rockscape
This is the way I preferred. When I tried the robber band I almost cut it in half the next day when it inflated. You can still see the scar line across the top of it.
I like to stick the stalk of the leather inside an empty turbo snail shell. It will attach quickly then I can stick the snail shell in the sand, rocks, etc.
