best way to clean a Jebao SW-2

The impeller stops and when I turn a few times manually it starts again. It's somehow getting bound up and stops spinning. Is it best to soak it in straight white vinegar to dissolve any build up? I'm thinking maybe coralline algae is causing friction and stopping the impeller? Or is there a better way to clean it? It's only about 4 months old.

Yes, it says distilled white vinegar. Would a 30 min soak be sufficient? And should I rinse it for a long time to make sure all the vinegar is rinsed off?

Soak it just long enough so any deposits can be easily removed... 30 minutes is probably fine. Vinegar is harmless to your tank in small quantities (there are a lot of people, including myself, who dose vinegar daily as a carbon source).

Looks as good as new now! I've disassembled the pump before. Pretty simple to do. Pulled out the impeller and cleaned that well. Running good now! Yeah. I'm going to see if I can just buy a spare pump so I can swap it out without causing down time.
