In my sump the auto top off hole is lower than I would like it. It isnt very big but would the best way be to get a small piece of acrylic and glue it over the hole? What type of glue do I use

Thanks

If you have a glass or acrylic shop nearby you can pick the glue up there. you also need a couple clamps to hold the pieces together.

I have used weld on as well as super glue. When I did the SG I also siliconed around the seam. I would do it from the inside not the outside. The sump that I use to have had the SG with silicone and it held for years. good luck!

A piece of acrylic and weld-on with a weight or clamps is the only permenant way to seal it right....Other stuff will work for a while though...
