WaterWeld. I just used to epoxy four rocks, making two pillars. I have also used AquaMend but neither Home Depot or Lowe's carry it anymore. Have used both in reef set ups without any ill effects.
as stated above i used the water weld and it did not work well. its still soft even though i applied it yesterday, (says on the package will set and cure underwater and in 1 hour lol) and the stuff that did harden is now flaking away. maybe my aquascaping is a little more demanding than what u set up but i would not recomend this product to anyone. large gobs of super glue gel work great underwater though. just make sure you put ur glue tube underwater and apply directly to the rock, none of that taking it out and mashing it together crap unless of course ur rock is already dry...
this stuff i used is pretty good if using dry rock. as u need to let it dry for about 1 hr. once hard its almost like a styro foam and pretty strong hold.
I know it's been a while since this was last commented on, but the can of "great stuff", is there anything in it that can ruin the water or kill the fish?
Did anyone ever find out if great stuff is safe? I bought some aquarium putty today to bind some smaller pieces into larger ones to fill spaces and such and add shape. But I need something that will hold larger rocks too. My rock is also too fragile to drill. I could zip tie some of it I am sure, but that means tomorrow I will be doing a tear down and re-arrange again after almost having my rocks collapse because of frag that wandered off and I had to go digging for it.
