Best way to switch from CC to LS?

I have a 24g nanocube which has had crushed coral in it since I started it about 2 years ago. I would really like to switch to LS over thanksgiving break. I would really like to not have to pull everything out of the tank as I just got the aquascaping how I like it. So what the best way to do this without screwing everything up in the tank? I'll be ok with some of the crushed coral remaining around the rocks/under the rocks. Also should I go with about 20lbs of LS? Who else has done this? What kind of benefits were there from the change?

I just finished doing that on my 58 (( I got all new rock too, so I wasn't too concerned about doing it with the rock in the tank ))

After seeing how nasty things were under the rocks, I would suggest you take out all the rock. I had gravel vaced my CC so I didn't think it would be all that bad, I was wrong.
