I had an aptasia problem it was on some LR I was given and i used Joe's Juice! Worked great! When I got it to a controllable stage like there were a few smaller ones in the hard to reach cracks and crevasses I bought a pair of peppermint shrimp and i haven't seen one since!!!!! The shrimp do a great job I havent seen aptasia in months, was worried they might starve due to lack of aptasia but mine love flake food they are very interesting creatures they've got personality and they constantly are battling it out with my coral banded shrimp, makes me laugh!!!! the best way for me to remove it, was a copperband butterfly fish.
but the best way in general, would probably be to get an aptasia eating nudi.

Will kalk or joes juice harm the corals?? I have some aptasia right next to some zoas and was worried about using anything that close, LMK... Thanks

Make your kalk paste super thick, make sure any power heads are off, apply, wait 10-15 minutes and siphon with a turkey baster.
This is what I use to apply with.

Joes juice works fairly well as long as when you apply it, you have to make sure the aptasia injests it... Otherwise it'll pull into the rock and reappear later.

Super simple DIY project, Matt.

1cc syringe, 6 in piece of rigid airline tube, and an inch of airline hose. Done

I have 1 spare I'll bring it up to the b b q Saturday. I know someone will want it.

We usually worm our own dogs so I get the syringes a lot from my Vet.
