Best wrasse for pests

I have some pests I believe that have taken a liking to one of my acro colonies. I've dipped it and believe I've gotten most of whatever was on it but I'm worried about the rest of my sps. So I want to get a wrasse to help with pest control. Which would be my best bet?

I think it really depends on what "pests" you are experiencing? The yellow coris is great with fireworks and flatworms IME. Also, what size is your system?

110 high predominantly sps. I'm not exactly sure what I'm experiencing. I think if flatworms. I think some fell off in the dip but I couldn't really Id them.

Bdial: when I had a bout with flatworms (planaria) I got a yellow wrasse/canary wrasse at the recommendation of my LFS. Was the best thing ever. I don't like adding chemicals to my system and always try to look for a natural approach to issues. I will add a caution that not all yellow wrasses are going to take care of the issue, but it is sure worth the try. I had leopard Wrasses that would eat the bristle and fireworks but they don't touch the flat worms. Many sites will illustrate what the wrasses specialize in and one such site is Blue Zoo Aquatics. They are the most helpful in their descriptions. I prefer them to purchase my wrasses and have always had great luck. Some wrasses are not good shippers so you need to keep that in mind as well.

Hope this was somewhat helpful - good luck and let us all know how this ends up.

I've had good luck with both the Yellow Coris and Melanurus Wrasses. Both are great hunters, they search all day.

I added a sixline and the flatworm issue has disappeared.... Now only if I can stop the apstasia (sp?) from coming back with out totally tearing down my system....
