i'd say N. wennerae......i think i can see meral spots

OK. But what is a Meral spot, and what other identifiers should I look for?

meral spots are the round spots on the smashers....i think N. wennerae's are white. i dont really know any other identifiers, dr. caldwell is the expert on that

From what I can see of the telson, it is not N. wennerae. If it is from the Caribbean or Florida, my guess is N. torus.

OK, I was looking at the smashers on him, and he has red spots on the insides of the arms kinda like an emerald crab. Does this mean anything for ID purposes?
