BHS Tank Project

I am proud to announce that Something Fishy is now working on putting the 120 tank set up together that will be soon set up in Bloomsburg High School. The school has ordered all the hardware and supplies, including liverock in order to get this project under way.
If any member of NCPARS would be willing to donate live goods at the upcoming swap, I will be glad to accept them on their behalf. Thank you all in advance for your support of this project to bring our hobby to this new generation of potential reefers. The kids are excited about this new opportunity.

I am sure someone from the club in that area would be willing to be a corespondant and advise or help them in any way.

The club may be able to setup a seminar for the kids to learn about the tank if they are interested.

We are willing to help in any way we can.

Actually, I am in the club. We are listed under my husband's name, but we have been members since the first year. So, in that regard, they already have a club member spear-heading and also advising them on what to do (well, really two because the hubby is involved because I am).
I just thought if anyone had any spare frags laying around that they wouldn't mind donating it would be a great way to start their coral colonies in the tank. Plus, it teaches about the conservation of the reefs through fragging rather than buying new mother colonies.

let me know when you are ready and will have frags for you too. Let me know if you are looking for anything special and we might have them in our storages. I will be driving from Selinsgrove to Hazelton alot soon when we open a new business in Hazelton and can drop them to you on my way. Good to see that you guys put this together.
