bi-color angel and cupramine

Thanks. I have a trio in qt and am giving them a prazipro treatment and then will probably give them two weeks of cupramine and then another round of prazi before adding them to my 125.

you can always start at 1/2 the dose and go up for more sensitive fish. every fish is different, i've used copper at half the dose and had dead fish within an hour. start slow and titrate up and use a reputable kit to test the levels. are you treating an active ich or velvet outbreak? if your fish is healthy and eating without evidence of disease, i would hold off on copper since it it really potent.

Bicolors are more susceptible to copper than any other dwarf angel for some unknown reason.
In the old days, prior to reliable test kits, and as unfortunate as this sounds, we used bicolors as the proverbial "canary" for dosing copper into tanks.
They always were the first to suffer at lowish doses. This was copper sulfate, and I am aware Cupramine is a milder form of copper.

All I'm saying is dose with care.
