bi color angel questions

i recently purchased a bicolor angel to try it in my reef. i only have zoanthids at the moment and noticed that they have been staying closed and not opening lately and some have just disappeared...... i also have a longnose butterfly, anyone here have some knowledge on what could be maiking them go away, the fish or what, all my perimeters are great. This all started happening when i added the angel. To be quite honest, i am almost thinking up giving up coral completely and going fish only.....

.............i think you answered your question........i'd go with the bicolor as w/ many angels, when it comes to zoos.....just can't help themselves!

I'd say the bicolor is far more likely than the longnose butterfly, but one of your fish is either pecking at them (closed) or eating them (gone).

yep, thought so, i really need to stop listening to the lfs employess lol!!!!!!!! but, i guess i learn the hard way....... i wish that you could train fish lol!

Don't give up on corals yet if you like them. Just be sure to research the fish before you buy it. Don't trust the LFS, go online and search habits of the fish (and what they eat). There is also a GREAT book that you should consider getting: Marine Pocket Guide. This will tell you what fish are reef safe and a little bit about their feeding adn behavioral habits.

i bought the dr.burgess one and usuallt take it with me when i go...... i like coral, but with such a deep tank, my 110 gallon, my pc lights just arent cutting it!

IME, Bi-colors are one of the worst dwarf angels when it comes to being reef safe.
Agree totally - they are the devil dressed in yellow and blue
