Bi Color Angel

Would like some more information on this fish. How are they with corals such as softies, zoa's, frogspawns, etc. I'm going to be new to the reef game, I have kept fish only for quite sometime but would like to get into the colorful things of this great hobby. Any information on this fish would be great, and don't forget to post your pictures.

I had bi color angel in my reef tank and never touched any corals or clams, but with angels you never know.It was very active and ate everything but about 6mos.just despaired and don't know what happened to it.

IMO/IME a bi-color is the worst dwarf angel when it comes to being reef-safe. (( the 2nd worse being a lemonpeel. )) I would be surprised if your zoas lasted a week with that angel in the tank.

In addition, for some reason they seem to be one of the harder ones to get acclimated to tank life.

Each is going to be different, but mine is has been fine for the most part.

It has left ____ alone; SPS, zoas, clam, anemones, most LPS.

Mine has picked at open brains a bit.

Todd is right. Bi-color angel success has been at best marginal. Flames sometimes start out pretty well with regard to picking and then some of them seem to have a Eureka moment and thereafter pick a lot, usually at meaty type LPS.

Mine seems fine SO FAR, but I have not added any meaty LPS corals, I figure they will just be an expensive snack.
The main issue with C. bicolor is getting one to live longer than 2 or 3 weeks. This is NOT a beginer's Angel!!
