bicolor angelfish in a 30 gal. reef???

I don't know about Bi colored angels, but I have a dwarf coral beauty angel in my 20H reef and he leaves everything alone but brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and the flakes I feed him and two false perculas.

I would not do it. They are hit or miss with corals. 30 Gal is small for a bi-color.

with all dwarf angels is pretty much just a hit or miss. some will some wont touch corals. So to say that "he will pick on corals"....well that might only be half true. He might, he might not.

I'm not sure what all their requirements are, but as long as you provide what is needed it will be fine. I do think that i heard they're somewhat more difficult to keep than the regular flames and coral beaties, but i really dont know.

its hit or miss, just like pretty much any other angel. so if you want it, its worth a try right? and I'm pretty sure they can be in a 30 gallon tank.

This is the one you were talking about i was just pointing out the other i think it would be better for a 29 seeing he only get about3.5-4 inches the bicolor gets 6 so he would be to big.
As for nipping sir_dudeguy is right it is hit or mis with angels Dwarf angels i hear by far are better than any other angel to not nip though.

besides the obvious percs/false perc clowns? lol. I've got 2 w/my sixline and they school together.
Royal gramma? Firefish, little gobies,
just go to liveaquaria and look at their nano fish section. Any of those fish will be perfectly fine in your 29

go for a watchman goby and pistol shrimp 
always awsome to watch those. And plus depending on what type of gobie it is you prolly wont even change the bioload much if any...really small little dudes.

i was just gonna say go with the highbanded goby and a pistol shrimp. They form a really interesting relationship. What types of corals are you planning on keeping? What about Black Percs? They are really pretty and they aren't that common. You could always try the Coral Beauty or Flame, but it's taking a long shot. I've heard where the flames destroy clams and corals. Then you get that one nice little angel that does perfectly with all corals. Hmmm....too bad they couldn't screen those out for us huh? I'd love a flame angel in my 40, but there is no way I'd risk loosing my corals. =( Or hey, cut a frag off, set up a small display tank put the flame in there and see if he's interested. I've heard of people trying that before placing them in their main display. Bi Color will get too big. You could always try a black capped basslet. They are pretty. I believe they stay small too.
