Bicolor Blenny picking at Duncans

Just added a small duncan frag last week. It seems to be acclimating and doing well. The other day I noticed the polyps closed up and what looked to be a small rubbed off area of the skeleton. After watching the tank for a while I noticed my bicolor blenny sampling the stalk! He didn't nip at the polyp, but he seemed to be attracted to the green film covering the skeleton.

Is this cause for concern? The blenny seems less interested as time goes by, but just want to make sure. Will the green covering grow back on the skeleton?
