Bicolor Blenny Trouble???

My bicolor blenny has suddenly taken to picking at my montis and acros. Is this normal for them and if so how do I stop it?

Blennies are herbivores, he is probably finding scraps of algae on your corals and picking them off.

Or he's not finding the food he needs and he is resorting to other food sources.

I and many others here on RC have had this problem. You need to take him out. Once he hides in a rock, pull it out and transfer him to anouther tank without SPS. He will be fine with soft corals and LPS. You won't be able to stop him and he will damage your SPS. Bicolor blenny is one of my favorite fish just not in my SPS tank. Someone in your club without SPS will love him if you only have one tank. There are other posts in the SPS forum that will back up this problem if you do a little search. Good luck. Michael R
