Bicolor dwarf is a bit distrubed...

While I was trying to catch one of my damsels in the net, my dwarf went inside the net to get some food, but he got caught on the sides of the net and wouldn't free. I tried to gently wiggle him about a bit but he still wouldn't free. I put my other hand in the tank gently rubbed the net and the angel broke off, and swam behind some rocks.

It's been about 20 minutes and he seems very afraid. He's hiding in the rocks and not freely swimming about like he used to.

Should I be worried? Or would this pass and he'll go back to normal? I looked at his fins and the sides of him and he didn't appear to be damaged at all. I hope he'll do OK.

A little bit offtopic and irrelevant, but, I was able to get both of my damsels out of my tank with a few peices of brine shrimp and a medium sized net. I was told it was impossible and I'd have to break down my tank to get him out! Well, I lured him in with the shrimp and swooped him up. :)

your fish should should be back to normal by tommorow, hes just stressed, keep an eye on the fins for tears

you may wanna play the lottery, it took me over a month to get my damsel out, i used 2 nets and move live rock form one side to the other keepin him on the no rock side and he swam into the other net, what you did was rare

Yeah, he's hiding in the rocks right now. He seems to be afraid of me--whenever I approach the glass he turns the other way. His fins look good. I love that fish, my favorite... I hope his fins are fine.

A month? Wow... I took no more than 10 minutes for me to get them both out.

I had a chromis that died, I think it was my damsels because they always pick on them. Glad I was able to get them out now. I gave the Damsels to my LFS and in return the LFS will get me some nassarius snails.
