BIG Cubes!

ClownReef®

Bubbletrousing
Hey guys, ive been thinking about changing my current setup to a big cube tank, so i wanna see those big 120+ gal. cubes!! :bum:

I'd like to see some big stuff to, especially info on how the waterflow is arranged would be nice :D!!

I'm planning on building a 200 gallonish cube end of this year myself...... :celeb1:

Here's an old video of my 240 cubish tank, 4x4x2:

This was taken several weeks ago. I've since added some nice sinularia flexibilis for some movement and a few new fish.
This system has two Sequence Darts hooked up to an 8 way and a 4 way Oceansmotions units for two seperate closed loops.
Return pump is a GenX PCX 40. Total gph estimated at around 8200 gph, through the dual returns and 12 random closed loops (4 located near the front corners installed through the bottom facing back towards the overflow, with 8 in the back pane facing in different directions as well.) The floor returns are hidden by the two rock pillars.
Two AquaMedic Oceanlight pendants with dual 250 watt DE 20K XMs with T5 actinic supplementation.
SPS dominant reef with lots of fish, angels mostly.
System is just over one year old.
Tank built by Scott at Aquatics Systems Designs.
Stand built by yours truly.

Still haven't added water!!!????????????

No, I think I am on the five year plan! Actually, I decided to revamp our basement. I removed a lot of paneling, a woodburning stove, a bunch of stonework and rockwork around the stove, etc. We have been working at it here and there with a friend of mine, but progress has been painfully slow:(

I am hoping that things will start to move faster here since I have more income dt working longer hours. I have been waiting for three years to get these two tanks up and running.

I have not started a thread about it all yet and not sure that I want to do that either. Basically, I have a 8x30x30 and a 60x60x30 tank that are in-wall. The cube is viewable from two sides in the basement viewing area and the long tank is viewable from one side.

I have been blessed with good friends who have helped me along the way to get equipment, namely Geo! He has built me a couple awesome sumps and is working on a huge skimmer for about a year now...can not wait to get it going.
