Big Day

Well the day finally arrived when I thought it was time to put some water in this tank I had bought back in July, I have been buying equipment for awhile now... some I needed and some that was a learning experience and some that will be used again. Anyway I was, am going to take my 40 breeder off line after the set up, will start a Q tank for all new corals and have also done away w/ a 55 gallon setup. I have debated long a hard what to do w/ Marvin my Clown Trigger who is one of my favorite fish, so I may put him in the 40 breeder after taking it down and removing it from it's current placement, a nice stand would be in order. Can you tell I'm PSYCHED :D , well being somewhat new to this but getting a lot of good advise and watching my corals go from looking great to dead has given me a new perspective about What and when things go in the 220, and yes I have put a few pieces of LR in the tank from the 55 which had flatworms, but I dipped it and really inspected it good. Except for two pieces. :rolleye1:
I want to thank    Steve and Ade for coming early and staying late in putting this thing together, Was amazed to watch Steve Dyer work, he reminds me a mad scientist w/ a new toy doing this stuff, all I can say is THANK YOU!!! You were and are incredible, Ade, couldn't have done it w/out you :D , I think I know what brand you like so well of the beverages. by the way you left you box of parts here. I think I will use the 30 for the Q tank and the 40 for Marvin until I do something w/ the stand for the 75.

I'll save you the lawnmower, and let's not forget Michael who was my support staff, thanks bro! Chris, HOC has been very helpful in his knowledge and passing on some nice equipment at reasonable prices , just keep updating your system Chris ;) thing will be much slower this time and ONLY things I want in the tank, I think I may have been a little... well maybe a lot impatient and not think about the long term of my choices, some pictures to pass along.

Any time steve. I hope all goes well with your new setup. I have some frags for your new tank when your ready for them just let me know.

Thanks guys, things are looking better. It will be very hard to keep from adding stuff, but i will do my best

It is very hard not to place nice big corals in your new tank, as you have experienced time is the key. My 180 is about 8 years old and still I have a hard time putting new coral in it.

Hey Steve,
It's been a while since we have seen any updates on your dream tank. If you geta chance more pics please.
Thanks Ade

Missing a Tunze that had to be sent off, as usual going trough a mini cycle w/ some red cyno and still need to add some rock, sand and eventually make up my mind about a T5 fixture or add a hood, I never mentioned my friend Mike and his friend Jo Jo for doing the stand but, as you can tell it's really nice and could hold up a bus :).
So here goes, I know it needs work, but I figure I have nothing but time...
