Hi friends

Please, I would like some tip about my big, big Tree Coral(Lemnalia Sp.) When I bought 1 year ago the coral was very small, coming up from below-side of the rock(image01), where there is a Colony Polyp, (Zoanthus sp.).

Now the tree coral is big, like more than 30cm(image02).

The main stalk is big as well(like more than 4cm, dividing in 4 stalks with around 1.5cm each)(images 3 and 4).

The problem is that the tree coral is so big that is hiding the colony, and I would like to cut 2 of the 4 stalks, but I don't know if due to the stalk be huge, I can cut them in the base without damage. Tips please...:uhoh3:

You can take a straight edge razor blade and make a clean cut through the branches that you want to remove. It won't hurt the coral and you can attach the cuttings to another place in your tank.

They're so hardy. Cut away! I've seen nothing but a stalk left and the things have gown back. nice coral, though!
