My 125 is currently cycling with about 40lbs of live rock from a well established tank and about 40lbs of dry rock. Need more rock, right?
Wasn't planning on any today, but stopped by the LFS on my way home for some salt (I like to buy local, LFS owner is a good guy). Checked out the LR while there and noticed a nice big piece. I am in need of a few larger than average pieces. Weighed it, paid and brought it home in a bucket with saltwater. Go to put it in the tank (I haven't started scaping yet, just random rock) and notice this! Unfortunately I didn't notice soon enough to acclimate him or I would have. He is now moving around the tank rather rapidly and munching on leftover algae from the existing LR I started with. I sure hope he lives.
Not like they are pricey, but it is great to get a Turbo Snail hitchhiker rather than something bad! Picture really doesn't do justice, he's about 1.5" across, That rock he hid in as about 16" wide.
No noob question, just sharing a story of a good hitchhiker.
