Biggest LFS in the US?

The largest one by me is a 15000 gallon warehouse. Ohio has a couple coral farms as well (Reef Systems & Tidal Gardens) For being mainly fields, Ohio does pretty good with good quality stores. Not sure on the largest though.

Are you looking for the biggest selection of tiny choices at higher prices or larger choices at smaller prices and a great selection?

I was at a place for the first time in Orlando today that was a dream...DREAM...the pieces were from expensive but huge to smaller and a bargain. None were teeny tiny. The prices were less than I had seen at another place and the size was twice as big.

lol, Mostly looking for wow factor. A place that might influence where to go for a vacation. Theres a place in Tampa that has over 10,000 gallons, and everytime I go there I'm amazed by the size and selection.

Is that World Wide Corals in Orlando, that you went to? I know they have the most amazing corals I've seen.

There's a 15,000+ gallon warehouse/wholesaler that's open to the public near where I live in Dayton, OH. It's called Gerber's Saltwater. They have a website, but since they're not a sponsor here I'm not sure if it's ok to insert a link here... You can Google it if you're curious.

I've been there many times & they often have some cool stuff, but unless you've got family in the area or will otherwise be traveling somewhere near, Dayton's not the greatest place for a vacation.

*edited to add* Some of the 15,000+ gallons is freshwater, I'm not sure of the percentage.

I didn't know about this place. I live in Lexington which isn't horribly far from Dayton. I also have family in Columbus that I visit occasionally, I'll have to stop by there sometime. What are their prices like?

I have been to World Wide Coral a few times and that is where I have been looking at a CUBE 93G

However...yesterday I discovered a place I had never been to in Orlando. I am ABSOLUTELY sure this place is a best kept secret LOLOL (not now)

SEA IN THE CITY

I met Jen and believe there is another lady that works there. The live rock is hand picked from TONS by Jen AMAZING rock. Better than any I have seen in person before. I will be going by there soon and will find out how many gallons are there. But...it is not about the "Size of there Gallons" it is "How they use them " :) :) I will take some pictures and post if any of you are interested.

I went to Sea in the City a year or so ago. Half the fish and corals in the store were labeled "Not for sale". Thats like putting cake in front of a fat kid, and saying "you can't have any cake, but theres some carrots over there". I never had the desire to go back. Maybe I just went there on a bad day. I'll have to stop by again and check them out.

Lexington isn't too far away, if you're going to be near the area anyways it's worth a stop I'd say. Their prices are decent. There are some huge fish there & sometimes some pretty uncommon stuff. You can get a really good bargain there from time to time. Other things I've seen priced a tad high, but on the whole I'd consider them not bad & worth a look.

They carry some dry goods & equipment, but I'm not sure what their prices are on stuff like that since I tend to do internet shopping for those things.

If you have family in Columbus you should visit Reef Systems Coral Farm, they've got 10,000 gallons there. It's mostly coral & inverts, no fish. They sell some dry goods & equipment.
