i was just wondering where i can buy a bimaculatus octo. from if anyone can help me out and if i can get 2 of them in one tank. i have a 125g tank just got it set up thank you. john

Hello

First congrats on your decision to get an octo. You can purchase an octo from several places here are two, www.octopets.com and www.fishsupply.com. If you want two octos keep in mind that they may try to eat or kill each other since they are cannibils( sorry for the spelling) but you should be able to keep 2 bimacs in your 125 gallon tank since the minimun tank size for one is a 50 gallon tank.Good luck I hope this can help.

is there anything that i can add to my tank as in starfish and a eel my eel raight now is 8'' long u think it would b alrigth with a 1'' octo. How long is the life span of a octo too? thank you john

Octopus is a natural food source for morey eels. The bimac will become instant food if you have a eel. starfish, cucumbers, urchins are safe with a octopus. A baby bimac will live for about a year with proper care and temps in the low 70s.

Just a small point but the babies sold from octopets are bimaculoides and not bimaculatus
