Does it fit with the hood on and closed?
there ya go

Umm..yeah, it fits in the chamber. Many people fit things in the chamber but don't use the stock hood and/or allow it to stick up out of the hood. I've seen pics of skimmers used in the second chamber whose collection cup stuck out above the stock hood.

jkentz, thank you for the info!! I'll check youtube, too...I have more questions, but I'll check that out before I ask. :)

amanda- I hope you didnt take offense to that, I wasnt trying to be a smartalic. I do believe tho that the CPR fits under the hood and in the chamber no mods needed.

Really like your rockwork. I had something similar, then there was the rockslide of Oct 08...

Thanks, but I'm worried about having the rockslide of 2009. I'm ordering some epoxy in the hopses to keep them together. I also need to get some of my corals mounted rather than have them all over the substrate.

I hear that, my sand is covered with frag discs currently :rolleye1: I just got rid of a bunch and suddenly theres a whole bunch back down there hahaha. I also have another mag rack comming probably tomorrow, so that will help!

I wish I had the same problem as you!

OK before there is more mess here what are you guys doing with all the power cables?

I got my skiimer yesterday adn its a rats nest behind the tank.

return pump
Korilla
light1
light2
LED
skimmer pump1
skimmer pump2
heater
heater probe
top off tubing

I have 1 powerstrip plugged into the wall and another power strip plugged into the other strip. Rich now the wires are a mess and I would like to clean them up. What have you guys done?

I just bought a 100 pack of black zip ties from lowes. They were cheap enough to use and consider disposable not to mention it only took about ten to clean everything up. You don't need the big ones either, the 4" worked just fine for me.
