How much more Bio-Load is there in a small damsel fish then that of a small Strawberry Crab?
as you can tell by my sig, I love the mini gobies. One of my dreams is to get like a 240 with tons of live rock and tons of mini gobies to play in the rockwork. They're just so neat because of how they perch and then go in and out of the rockwork. It's like a surprise every time you see them :lol:Originally posted by chocolateblnt
definitely ... there are many miniature (baby) gobies!
water change? Is that like changing the oil in your car? j/k yeah I have a very heavy bioload for a 12 gallon, but I'm super diligent on my water changes. I do 2 changes a week of between 1-3 gallons each. Also, I vaccuum out the back chambers of my nanocube where I have live rock once a week as well. Though I'm probably playing with fire, so far, so good (Knock on wood). My setup has been up for exactly one year in August. It's quite amazing how much of a bioload you can put on a tank as long as you do many water changes, enough to compensate for the higher load. Though I am in the process of building a sump/fuge to lessen the need to do such frequent and large changes. If I could get it down to once a week of only about 3 gallon's I'd be stoked.Originally posted by theop

Wow, i thought that I was overstocked with a perc, yellow watchman, and orchid dottyback.
What is your water change regimen and how much nitrate do you have?
