Hello,
First off, i looked back a few pages and didnt see anything....
I have mainly a SPS tank, with some LPS.
I have never had problems with LPS dying... but im starting to get worried.

Has anyone had any problems with using pellets?
i have been running them for 6 months and am just now having problems. (its the only new thing)

i didnt put many pellets... but my levels are un-detectable. so im wondering if im starving my LPS?

any insite would be helpful.
My tank is 3 years old give or take.
im running enough pellets for a 75gal tank.. (i have close to 300gal total)

Thanks!

I have heard of this before. Certain LPS like they're water a little "dirty" and with pellets they can strip the water completely. In the early stages of my 20g I had lost a frogspawn a few months after my pellets matured so I went back to my original setup. I have heard pros and cons on the subject and came to conclusion it created too much of a nutrient poor environment. Before carbon doing came around I saw a similar thing happen at a LFS that had a 5 year old Ritteri. They switched out a passive Tunze skimmer for a more aggressive needlewheel. Shortly after the Ritteri died. Just my experience.
