Bio pellets Problems

On month three of using bio pellets, most of my zoas started melting away aswell. and like allways, its the high end ones go first. I was also battleing a thick clear slime that grew on every surface in the tank. I finally got tierd of the ill effects of he pellets and took them off line. I did 50% water changes every other day for a week for a total of 4 changes and things started going back to normal

Update, I'm off line as well. Zoas started having issues and alk started to drop drasticly and couldn't dose enough to keep even at 7. everything looks fine doing lrg wc's we'll see how it goes.

That doesn't sound good Chris. How is the tank reacting now?

So from what I've heard from local hobbyists: (1) SPS (acros specifically) severely effected and now (2+) Zoanthids are indicating problems.

*Important to keep in mind that these incidents may not be related at all...just issues that people have attributed to (or at least indicated) during biopellet use.
