Bioballs?

My tank came with for large bioballs should i leave them in or take them out?

i would take them out and replace them with live rock rubble because in my tank they coused my nitrites to spike.

I have bioballs also. They are on tope of the bag of tubes which sits on top of the carbon bag.
I should take them out and put LR rubble on top of the bag of tubes? Base rock or true live rock?

Remove the bioballs; if you keep an ample amount of LR & LS in the main portion, then adding rubble is rather moot.
