biocube scratches

Ok found that it is glass and read somewhere to use cerium oxide and a buffing wheel. Going to try it on my 29 cube will let you know how it turns out. Are the scratches deep? As to the touch of your finger nail?

Are you sure it is glass? Mine definitely seems like acrylic. It has rounded corners, can you do that with glass?

If you want to take a scratch out i would think to approach it like car paint. Start with 2500grit wet sand (sand in one direction at an semi perpendicular angle to the scratch), then 3000grit in the other direction. Then follow up with a mild scratch polish to remove the dullness that the sand paper brought on. I usually use a Dual action polisher for this last part.

are the scratches on the inside or outside?

acrylic is non pouris unlike glass and you can try and use the headlight restore kit on small scratches. (suggest doing it in non obvious area first)

also similar to what was suggested earlier their is a ton of sanding pad s that you can try alot of which are used in polishing acrylic countertops once again try in area not noticeable first
