Biocube Set-up

I have had the 29 gallon bio-cube set-up for almost a year now and I am very happy with it. I recently moved and transported the tank for the first time since I have filled it and now I have a chance to start over. I am just looking for some suggestions for a cohesive variety of fish that I can put into my tank. I know I would like a royal gamma as one of the fish but I need others and do not want to make the mistake I made when initially setting up my tank. Thank You
