Biopellets

Reef Monster
I have a 90g LPS with Nitrates of 25 ppm and undetectable PO3. I started running NPX bioplastics about 3 weeks ago in a TLF 150 at approximately 1/3 the recommended dosage, so to star slow. I know the tank was well seeded with bacteria. I am now starting to see a white film on the glass. I was surprised that at this low the dosage I am seeing results and assume the white film is a small bacteria bloom. Any ideas or suggestions ?

Make sure the export from the reactor goes directly into a protein skimmer intake. The film you see is not bacteria but is an excess nutrient from the process. The key is to have the skimmer pull it out before it accumulates elsewhere.
