bird nest info please

i found a new !!well i can't say lfs because they do buisiness in a basement !!
but wow wow wow they had 1000s of corals and a set up to make all 3 lfs
look cheap all 3 together :spin3: you should have seen the ausi stuff and $$

anyhow i got a nice pink bird nest coral and like all of them they come in a little bleached but it still has some color to it and polyps all over and seems to be looking better everyday (got it on the weekend) still early to realy tell.

i have it 3/4 of the way up and centered under 250 mh 10k with 4 t5 act and medium flow from diff directions.

could you comment on placement,flow and anything else you think i could do to make it recover fully.
i've read somewhere that you can feed it !!!!

i dose 1 oz of dt's a week !!! i know they don't eat that but they feed on what feeds from it and even thats debatable when you start reading about it

i suplied a picture of another nice piece i got just wish i could take pictures that show the true colours,i forgot the name of it and trying to find it

Looks good that birdsnest should color up quick if your parameters are in line. As far as placement i would leave it where it is and moniter it if it is happy leave it.

thanks for info !!

parameters are in check and i will keep a close eye on it.
the momment i'm sure it's happy i will epoxy the rock base in place before smothing nocks it over it has a nice size rock under it.
